Stony Point’s supervisor hopes legislation gets passed before the state
legislative session ends that would help bring a massive project to his
town’s part of Letchworth Village. A bill is being drafted that would
allow for a zone change on a portion of the golf course that is
technically on state park land. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says the developer will keep and maintain the golf course…
Monaghan hopes to have the bill ready to be presented at Tuesday’s town
board meeting. After that, it needs to be passed by the legislature and
signed by the governor before the session ends June 19th.
