The Stony Point Seals’ 2021 Plunge, which would have been held last Sunday, was cancelled due to the pandemic. Instead, they planned to hold a “Polar Parade” for four year-old town resident Oscar Beckman, but that was scrubbed because of last week’s snowstorm. So Stony Point supervisor Jim Monaghan says the Seals will hold the parade for Oscar this Sunday…
The “Polar Parade” will feature fire engines, police cars, EMS vehicles, the NAM Knights, and anyone else who wants to join in the parade is welcome. They’ll start at the Haverstraw Marina at 1pm, and go past Oscar’s house. Visit StonyPointSeals.com to learn more about him and the group. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
