The town of Stony Point has set two public hearings for next month, one is on a law that would ban vaping and smoking on town properties and parks, and another on a law that would let the town opt out of legalizing marijuana sales in town. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says it’s not a moral issue, it’s a quality-of-life issue…
The hearings are scheduled for Tuesday July 13th. If the town decides to opt out of legal pot sales they could always change their mind and opt in later.
