A bill that would allow Stony Point to sell its golf course to a private developer, who would have to keep the town’s golf course open to the public, is still waiting for the governor’s signature. The Stony Point parkland bill passed the Assembly and the Senate just before the legislature ended the session for the year in June. Kirkbride Hall would also be preserved under the plan.
