A child under the age of five and who wasn’t vaccinated has become the third person in New York to come down with the measles. This latest case is in Suffolk County. Two other earlier cases were from the city, reportedly an infant and a young child, have both since recovered. Measles is highly contagious and spreads when you breathe it in or just by touching a contaminated surface. During an interview with FOX News, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said in Texas malnourishment may be a factor to the more than 200 cases of measles that have been reported in that state’s current outbreak.
