Tappan Zee High School is hosting the third annual “Two Counties, One Cause” basketball tournament starting tonight and tomorrow, a fundraiser to support the Children’s Tumor Foundation. 10 teams — five from Rockland and five from Westchester – face off on Saturday starting at noon. For the first time two girls’ teams will play each other, the Tappan Zee girls varsity team will face Sleepy Hollow on Friday night. Money raised will fund research into neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. For more information and game schedules, click here.
