There was some cloud cover, but the eclipse was still visible with the special glasses. It didn’t get too dark, but the temperature did noticeably drop the more the sun was covered. The next time our area will get the chance to witness a total solar eclipse will be in 55 years. The eclipse did manage to cancel Monday’s regular tele-town hall event in Clarkstown. Supervisor George Hoehmann says they’ll hold it next Monday. The town is also getting ready for summer…
