Palisades Parkway Police in New Jersey used tire-deflating “stop sticks” to catch a trio of alleged teenage car thieves out of Clarkstown. That’s according to DailyVoice.com. The New York City teens reportedly took a Jeep whose owner had left the car running around 7:30 yesterday morning. Clarkstown police pursued the Jeep, and called ahead to their New Jersey colleagues, who took over the pursuit at the state line. The trio reportedly abandoned the Jeep and were soon found in the parking lot of an Englewood Cliffs office building. 18 year-old Algenis Cabrera, the driver, and 18 year-old passenger, Isaiah Rodriguez, were both charged in the case. Similar charges were filed against the third teen, who is 17.
