Two Brooklyn women were arrested with guns and a stolen license plate after a chase that started in Tarrytown and ended on Route 59 in Nyack Wednesday night. New York State Police say it all went down around 7:30 when a 2021 Nissan Sentra heading north on I-87 near exit 7 in Ardsley was spotted violating several vehicle and traffic laws. Troopers tried to stop the car but the driver fled. A chase lasted a few minutes before ending on Route 59 in Nyack where Orangetown Police stopped 26 year-old driver Selena Lasco and 23 year-old Javed Duncan, both of Brooklyn. Lasco was taken into custody but Duncan tried to flee, but was quickly caught. Both were arrested and face charges of Possession of Stolen Property, possession of a weapon and other charges. They are due in court at a future date.
