Two Rockland hospitals will be getting millions in federal aid to help pay expenses related to treating coronavirus patients. Rockland and Westchester Congresswoman Nita Lowey says Montefiore Nyack Hospital will be getting about 45 million dollars, while Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern qualified for 39 million. Six other hospitals in Westchester will be getting millions as well. Lowey says the money from the CARES Act will let the hospitals continue to treat COVID-19 patients and increase staffing, bed capacity, and purchase much-needed personal protective equipment.
