Two Rocklanders face federal charges in the beating of a New City man and stealing his car. The U-S Attorney for the Southern District of New York says 27 year-old Dwayne Hicks of Spring Valley and 26 year-old Tnaiya Williams of New City are charged with carjacking and conspiracy to commit carjacking, and both face 30 years in prison on both charges. Police say Hicks lured the victim to a home where he, Williams and others attacked the victim, forced him to take off his clothes, stole personal belongings, then beat with a bat and repeatedly slashed and stabbed him. They then drove off in his car, leaving him covered in blood in a pile of snow.
