We’re at the two-week mark and there’s still no budget in place yet here in New York. Housing’s been one of the major obstacles, though the New York Post reported over the weekend that the governor and state lawmakers may have reached an agreement on that issue on Friday. Lawmakers have passed four extender bills so that the government remains operational. The budget deadline came and went April first. Many lawmakers are hoping to have it done before the Passover holiday begins next week.
