If you want to buy flavored tobacco products and you’re in Westchester, soon you’ll have to go somewhere else. The Westchester County Board of Legislators passed a bill last week to ban the sale of tobacco products flavored with menthol, mint or wintergreen. The bill is slated to go into effect in six months. The New York Association of Convenience Stores claims Westchester stands to lose $1.8 million per year in tax revenue.
