An Ulster County woman was jailed in Rockland Monday after she allegedly rammed two State Police cars, sending three State Police troopers to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 71 year-old Laura Duffy of Willow had earlier in the day eluded police twice in Ulster, and eventually ended up on the Thruway. Police flattened two of her tires during a high-speed chase, but she was able to make it to the Ramapo Service Area where she struck two state police vehicles. She made it to exit 15 before police caught up with her. She was charged with assault, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of governmental administration. She was sent to the Rockland County Jail on $25,000 bail.
