With winds today potentially gusting as high as 60 miles an hour, O&R has put 200 overhead line workers on stand-by to handle any outages. As of this morning there are 252 O&R customers without power in their coverage area, some of them in Pomona and New Hempstead. There were about 700 customers without power overnight.
