Rockland Assemblyman Mike Lawler easily won his GOP primary for the 17th Congressional District. He’ll take on upstate Congressman, Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney, who won his race with two-thirds of the vote. Rockland’s current Congressman, Mondaire Jones, placed third out of a 13-candidate field in his race for the 10th Congressional District covering lower Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn.
